Abstract

Ectomesenchymal Chondromyxoid Tumor (ECMT) is an extremely rare, benign, slow-growing intraoral neoplasm that occurs mostly on the anterior dorsal surface of the tongue. To date, approximately 74 cases have been reported. The purpose of this report is to highlight the first reported case of ECMT occuring on the lower anterior lingual gingiva of a 26-year-old Malay lady in Malaysia.
