Abstract
Epidermoid cyst is an uncommon developmental anomaly in the oral cavity. We report a case of 28-year old Malay woman, who presented with a history of progressive, painless swelling of the floor of the mouth for three months which mimicking plunging ranula. The cyst was removed under general anaesthesia via an intraoral approach and histopathological examination revealed an epidermoid cyst. The clinical features and surgical approaches were discussed.
